How do I make a discount on the calculator?
To calculate the discount value on any item, follow the following steps:
Start by multiplying the original item price by the desired percentage discount, then divide the result by one hundred.
For example, if the price of an item is 2000 pounds and the discount to be applied is 30%, the process is as follows: 2000 pounds x 30 ÷ 100, which gives us 600 pounds, and this represents the value of the discount.
To find out the final price of the item after applying the discount, we deduct the discount value from the original price of the item.
Using the previous example, the original price of the item is 2000 pounds, and the discount value is 600 pounds; So the final price after the discount is 2000 - 600 = 1400 pounds.
